Trivandrum has been the major academic hub, host of research centers and media institutions and hotspot for tourists world-wide. Alluded to by Mahatma Gandhi as the evergreen city of India, it is described by its undulating landscape of low beach front slopes and occupied business alleys. The city now contributes to almost 80% of the state’s software trades and is a noteworthy IT center point- thus attracting an inflow of IT crowd from other Indian metros. This has further changed the socio-economic structure of the state, including a widening gap in requirement for sports, wellness and leisure related facilities.
The Sports Hub is located at the heart of the fast developing city of Trivandrum and is built to facilitate it’s growing requirements. It is located adjacent to NH7 and is only few kilometers away from the hustling Technopark and proposed Technocity. The facilities at The Sports Hub is designed to facilitate and inspire a healthy lifestyle across demographics and age.
The project is the first of its kind with a stadium being constructed and run under PPP model. It was made a sustainable and replicable model because of the initiative and support of the state government of Kerala.
